A major Australian airport operator needed a modern, scalable way to manage airport access—integrating checks, approvals, payments, and access control into one auditable flow. Mivada built AeroMPass, a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS platform designed to meet strict aviation security requirements and external audits, backed by proactive operations and release management.
The Challenge
There wasn’t an off-the-shelf product that met the combination of requirements: strict aviation security controls, external auditability, and a complete lifecycle covering application → validation → checks → approvals → payment → issuance/renewal/revocation—all while remaining scalable and configurable across different operating models.
The airport needed a solution that reduced administrative effort and “chasing”, while strengthening assurance and reducing long-term operating cost.
The Mivada Approach
Mivada designed AeroMPass as a security-by-design SaaS platform with a clean, auditable lifecycle. We built end-to-end digital workflows that covered the full credential journey, including renewals and revocations—so every step is captured with clear evidence trails.
We prioritised integration early, ensuring checks, communications, and payments could operate as a single flow rather than disconnected tasks. The platform was built cloud-native with multi-tenant capability, automated testing, and CI/CD to support safe, frequent improvements without disrupting operations.
Operationally, we treated it as a product that must stay dependable: proactive monitoring, patching, and release management were baked into how the platform runs—supporting continuity and compliance long after initial go-live.
