Security & Governance
A fast-growing global QSR brand needed to stabilise and extend its Workday platform after go-live across a multi-region workforce. Mivada delivered predictable Agile delivery, stronger security governance, and audit-ready reporting to support scalable, compliant operations.
The Challenge
Following Workday go-live, the client needed a partner to stabilise, optimise, and extend its Workday platform across functional areas, reporting, compliance, and security. Operating across multiple countries and workforce structures, the organisation required a delivery model that could support continuous improvement while maintaining consistency, governance, and audit readiness.
They also needed a predictable way to manage competing priorities—balancing operational demands from restaurants and franchises with global platform standards and compliance obligations.
The Mivada Approach
Mivada applied a combined functional, technical, and security-governance approach aligned to the client’s operating model and reporting needs. Working closely with business SMEs, we optimised business processes, strengthened functional configurations, and improved reporting frameworks (including calculated fields) to increase performance and reliability.
A full security model assessment identified opportunities to simplify and reduce risk. We redesigned security into a clearer role-based framework, aligned to franchise and restaurant hierarchies to improve governance and maintainability as the business scales.
Delivery was executed through disciplined monthly Agile sprint cycles—providing transparency, faster iteration, and a predictable cadence of value. This model ensured work remained aligned to evolving priorities while supporting platform stability and long-term sustainment.
The Outcome
Workday stability and continuous improvement
Workday was stabilised post go-live through ongoing functional enhancements that improved user experience, reduced friction across key processes, and supported consistent operations across regions.
Audit-ready reporting and stronger compliance
Reporting accuracy and performance improved across HCM, Learning, Absence, and Time Tracking, enabling more reliable operational decision-making. Compliance and audit readiness were strengthened through robust reporting for right-to-work, certifications, learning, and payroll audits.
Security governance aligned to the business
A redesigned security model simplified access management and strengthened governance through a role-based framework aligned to franchise and restaurant hierarchies—reducing risk and improving scalability.
The Long-term Impact
The client now operates a more sustainable, compliant, and globally aligned Workday environment, supported by a predictable Agile delivery rhythm that keeps the platform improving as the business grows. The long-term result is stronger governance, better visibility, and a Workday foundation that can scale confidently across regions and workforce models.
